As the CFO of Basel Holding, I lead the financial and portfolio management of the holding company and its ventures, operating in multiple countries and industries. I am an executive board member and a trusted advisor to the board on strategic and financial matters. I manage teams in three different regions that handle accounting, budgeting, profitability analysis, and financial reporting for the group companies. With over ten years of experience in finance, I have developed strong skills in global cash management, financial risk management, and startup financing. I oversee the banking relationships and the cash flow optimization for the holding and its ventures. I run the tax & audit committee and ensure compliance with the local and international regulations. I also support the board in evaluating and financing new ventures and investments, leveraging my expertise in financial modeling and valuation. Previously, I worked as a treasury dealer for Unilever in Switzerland, where I was responsible for cash management operations for the central treasury desk (EU and USA), Turkey, and Argentina. I have a keen interest in finance, economics, entrepreneurship, and corporate strategy, and I hold an MBA, a BS in Mathematics, and a BS in Finance, as well as being a Fulbright Scholar.
