I am a Biochemistry and Biotechnology graduate with distinctive results. As a research trainee at Immunology, Nutrition, and Toxicology Lab, icddr,b, I gained hand-in-hand experiences in various molecular and immunological techniques in addition to planning, analyzing experiments for data. Besides, previously I have worked at Plant Biotechnology Lab, Dhaka University where I had worked with bacterial genes of halo-tolerance and rice plants. I have specifically learnt here about plasmid extraction, tissue culture, site-directed mutagenesis amongst others. Other than that, at university’s lab, I have worked with CRISPR, mutations and genetics of silkworms as models for cancer. Also, I have spent a few months in dry lab to work on computer-aided drug design. As days pass, I aspire to learn more and more about science while diving into it deep. My interests lie in molecular biology, role of non-coding RNAs in diseases, pharmacology, and advanced treatment of diseases.
