Product Lead – Location, Partnerships, Globalization ● Consolidated the BD and Partnerships product teams. Led the new team and defined a combined roadmap and opportunity-evaluation framework ● Led joint venture with strategic partner, launching a new generation of Home Automation and Security solutions. Initiative doubled company’s annual revenue by introducing pay­-per-­user and product-marketplace revenue streams● Launched joint ventures in multiple countries, introducing new revenue streams and increasing foreign user engagement by >100%● Extended product into auto infotainment systems -­ launched with Ford and BMW, leading to integrations with additional car manufacturers● Worked closely with engineering teams to implement a novel approach to location event processing that enabled rapid product evolutionSr. Product Manager – Developer Platform● Defined and implemented the strategy and product roadmap for Life360’s Developer Platform● Designed and launched the developer platform. On boarded SmartThings, TrackR, Nest, Piper, ADT and >10 other partners● Identified, developed, implemented and launched new platform services to meet partner needs● Partnered closely with BD to identify and penetrate new market segments including wearables, connected cars and smart homes

● Laid out the roadmap to transform the product from a webapp search engine to a context­-aware recommendation system engulfing all aspects of user interaction with mobile devices, creating the world’s first Contextual Smartphone UI● Led teams of 13 machine-­learning researchers, backend engineers, front­end developers and content specialists to transition the company from a rule­-based engine to a machine learning­-based Contextual Recommendation Engine, resulting in a 300% improvement to the engine’s performance● Extended engine indexing and retrieval to user­-device interactions including deep-­app indexing, built-­in services and interface interactions enabling new features including Smart Folder, Dynamic Phone and the Prediction Bar● Drove the implementation of a new micro­services based backend system architecture to increase supported DAU from x00,000 to tens of millions● Invented and registered 17 patents for applications of Data Indexing, Information Retrieval and Context Aware Recommender Systems

● Designed and built a revolutionary Database Version­-Control System that allows instantaneous point-­in­time restoration of distributed databases, drastically shortening development cycles for data-­centric companies● Established partnerships with two leading software companies specializing in developer tools and NoSQL databases making them first-­to-­market with a true stateless continuous integration solution for distributed environments

Led 5 teams with over 40 researchers and engineers responsible for all aspects of mobile communication security, from mobile device to the network core. Worked with customers inside and outside the unit to define the operational requirements and launch new product lines for operational systems. Formalized and implemented a 2-­year work plan for infrastructure development to support future generations of mobile network technologies
