I'm Tai Danh, a recent Computer Science graduate from the University of California Santa Cruz, eager to leverage my academic background and hands-on experience. While studying I was a Software Engineering Developer at the university, I spearheaded the development of customized apps using Laravel and Vue.js, contributing to the retirement of outdated Drupal apps while also maintaining live UCSC websites. I would also communicate directly with clients to define clear project goals, showcasing my adaptability as I embrace new technologies to meet shifting responsibilities. Outside of work my passion for programming lays with Rust. Among my projects are: "Rex," a Rust-based regex language I developed in collaboration with a partner, stands out. This project involved me implementing a regex language with SQL-like syntax using the LALRPOP parser generator and rolling a custom abstract syntax tree backend. I've also designed "Decoder," a command-line tool converting code documents to PDF notes by extracting Markdown from comments and code using Pandoc.Besides Rust, my proficiency extends to languages such as JavaScript, PHP, C, and Python, I'm also well-versed in frameworks like Vue.js, Laravel, Bevy, and LALRPOP. With my strong problem-solving skills, a self-driven approach, and effective teamwork capabilities, I bring a holistic skill set to contribute across various technical domains.
