Helped PureGym conceive a simpler (and much cheaper) member-facing software architecture and led a hybrid team to deliver a successful proof of concept and win board approval for full implementation.

Helped set up business unit, induct and mentor team of newly-hired product managers. Consulted clients in financial services, e-commerce, healthcare, and charity sectors. Worked across wider business to evolve approach to product management and explore how recent advances in AI could be applied for our clients.

Raised £600k in grant and equity funding to launch startup. Working closely with classroom teachers, we conceived and built a teaching platform which they loved using. User engagement very high, with average user opening app 12 times per day, for total of 43 minutes. Teachers marked/returned 424,000 pieces of work using Sparkjar, with 574,000 chat messages sent. 97% of teachers said they would recommend to a colleague.

Included automated sync with Autodesk design software, UX tailored for construction site usage, penetration-tested security.★ RADIO ALAN: COMEDY/MUSIC APPAlan Partridge app for Baby Cow Productions and BBC Worldwide. Went to #1 in the App Store, won the IAB Creative Showcase Awards Grand Prix and Creative Circle Gold Award.★ LEVI ROOTS SUNSHINE FOOD: COOKBOOK APPReached top of UK sales chart, won inclusion in Apple's list of the hottest cooking apps of the year and The Sunday Times list of the world's best 500 apps.★ DISHY: COOKBOOK APPTaught myself to code apps for iPhone, then designed, coded, released and marketed cookbook app, "Dishy". Reached top of UK sales chart and won praise in The Sunday Times: "Dishy was better thought-through [than the Jamie Oliver cooking app]... In this David v Goliath battle, it was Dishy that brought home the bacon."

Freelance digital product consultant for technology startups. Helped psychometric testing company define and market-test new SaaS offering.

Conducted study into missile seeker algorithms, assessing current capability, market requirements, and state-of-the-art technology, in order to propose a business strategy. Led UX overhaul of spinout software tool for equipment maintenance. Negotiated $530k fee for legacy intellectual property that was thought to be worthless.
