Senior Management Team (SMT) MemberPlan, centralize, coordinate and supervise the overall financial management of the Nigeria programme.

Programme forecasting, project budgeting, monitoring and financial reporting, payroll management and compliance with statutory obligations, treasury management, general ledger and accounting management, donor and external audit coordination, finance staff capacity building.

• Review records pertaining to staff and material assets, such as equipment, vehicles and petty cash to determine the degree to which they are utilized.• Examine departmental activities for compliance with management plans and policies.• Inspect accounting systems to determine their efficiency and productivity value.• Assess proper accountability of assets by conducting inventories.• Keep audit records of departments and interview workers to ensure recording of transactions and compliance with applicable rules and regulations.• Analyze data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in control, duplication of effort, fraud or lack of compliance with rules, government regulations and management policies or procedures.• Prepare and submit audit findings and make recommendations to management.• Conducts special studies for management such as those required to discover mechanics of detecting fraud and to develop controls for fraud prevention.• Other duties as assigned by the management.

• Book keeping and transaction recording. • Attending to other finance related issues of GKT Global Resources and Client Company.

• Reconciliation of 2012 transactions posted to SAP and QuickBooks.• Raise Correcting entries to be posted into SAP.• Reclassification of cost items from April 2011 to June 2013.• Support in the posting of reconciled items.• Collate and Sort payment vouchers and other financial documents in readiness for the LFA (Local Funds Agent) review• Settle and prepare staff advances by making sure it meets SFH finance policy on staff advances.• Vouching retirements and settling accordingly.• Processing Vendor Invoices with or without Purchase Order and settling accordingly.• Attending to staff and external auditors on matters pertaining to field financial transactions/documents.• Analysis of Bank charges for each month for reconciliation.• Bank reconciliation.• Petty cash posting and replenishment by making sure it meets SFH finance policy on petty cash.
