I manage a high performing team of four, responsible for the International Training Programmes Provided by the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. Working alongside our clinical colleagues, we are responsible for the development, establishment and administration of the International Residency and the International Clinical Fellowship Programmes.

As the junior manager within the International Affairs function, I was responsible for line management of the International Programme Coordinator team and for day-to-day management of the International Training Programmes. A key feature of my role was maintaining key internal and external stakeholder relationships, such as with the Irish Medical Council.

In my role as Programme Coordinator for the International Training Programmes in the Medical specialties, I was responsible for all administrative processes relating to the trainee lifecycle, including recruitment and selection, onboarding, induction, assessment and graduation, and I performed the relevant tasks with a high degree of efficiency and keen.
