I work as a managing editor at Tieteessä tapahtuu. It's an online science magazine that's published by the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies.

I made digital and printed learning materials that are used in Finnish middle and upper-secondary schools. My job was essentially about content design, project management and marketing.My daily work included:✨ Co-designing and co-creating new learning materials✨ Project managing the teamwork of scholars and teachers✨ Planning, commenting, editing and writing texts✨ Planning photos, infographics, videos and audio content✨ Marketing our products: content marketing, newsletters and events

Over the years, I did pieces as a freelance journalist for Otavamedia, Kotimaa and several film festivals, for example.

I worked at the online news desk of a weekly business magazine. I also wrote pieces for the print version of the magazine.

I was in charge of the film festival's communications from start to finish: planning, press releases, media relations, web content, social media and press conferences.

I made the festival catalogue happen together with about twenty people. It was a 240-page print catalogue that was also published online.

I assisted with the editing of the festival catalogue, wrote for the festival tabloid and helped out with media relations.

I coordinated the making of the festival catalogue. The catalogue introduced the 180+ films that were screened at the film festival. The process involved a graphic designer, a photo editor and about 40 writers.

I wrote pieces for more than a dozen different customer and personnel magazines. I also worked with customers' websites and social media pages.

I worked as a journalist for a weekly newspaper. My main tasks were interviewing people, investigating stories and attending a variety of events.

I wrote articles for the city's website, intranet and personnel magazine. I also did media monitoring and reported about it to the city council.
