In 2003, Richard started Phora Group an IBM Business Partner focused on designing enterprise business solutions for small and midsize businesses. Richard's first hand experience as an entrepreneur help him identify the special needs and requirements of small and midsize businesses and the extreme importance of finding the right business solution for a particular set of requirements.Richard has spent the past ten years focused on developing workflow and business process management solutions for the small and midsize organizations. This has resulted in the creation of Phora Group's iPhora platform which provides a secure application and collaboration platform that combines with scalable workflow and business process automation to help business grow.Currently, Richard is working with his team on launching the latest iPhora solutions in 2021, iPhora AppPlace 5 and iPhora AppBuilder globally bring iPhora to new markets. The latest solutions now incorporates the new iPhora opus4 process automation engine.

Richard co-founded ReCor Corporation a IBM Business Partner specialized in providing award winning CBT training for IBM Lotus and Microsoft software products. ReCor has provides training throughout the world with over 2.5 million users trained using ReCor NBT, Skillspace, and LearningDocs training products. Richard was the architecture in the design of their Java-based software simulation tools used to create True-to-Life simulations currently found in ReCor's LearningDocs product line.

For ten years, Richard headed up the computer simulation laboratory for a variety of electronic defense solutions. Richard lead a team of both hardware and software engineers in developing software simulations used real-time environments. Throughout his tenure as the technical lead, Richard expanded the facility to include multi-environments to provide realistic simulations for customers.
