RPS is a leading global professional services firm to which I was a part of the project management division. As an APM, my project experience enabled me to continue performing at a high level, improving my ability to liaise with clients and contractors, manage project deliverables, provide my team with necessary support, reporting and document development, and innovating and updating project/program processes to improve efficiency and outcomes. I have experience in the building and property division as well as the environmental remediation division; and have most recently been part of the team on the Naval Capability Infrastructure Sub-Program (NCIS), PFAS Investigations and Remediation national program (Defence), The National Gallery Capital Works project, Project Majura (capital works), and informally on the Tuvalu (capital works) project.The NCIS Defence program is a large program of upgrades and enhancements to Defence bases and operational infrastructure. My capacity in the NCIS program was part of the Program Management Office. I provided program support as part of the governance team and the Real Cost Increase team, by procuring long-term funding. My responsibilities included the support and management of program risk reviews, cost and finance management, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, program level reporting, supporting program meeting facilitation, stakeholder coordination, and the implementation of program controls.Previous experience includes being assigned to the PFAS Program (Defence), where I was involved in an array of program tasks, including developing a new data management device for PMs on site and creating/updating an array of SOPs documents. Initiatives which I was a part of include the development of the directorate handbook, creation of a program-wide consultant performance management process, and producing an environmental data management guidance document in support of the program’s operations.

Calvary Public Hospital is the major hospital in the north of Canberra, with an ever-changing environment that requires its employees to be efficient at providing quality service. During my time in this role I was required to demonstrate excellent communication skills, including the ability to liaise with other hospital departments; as well as communicating in diverse settings with patients, their families and other staff. I consistently multi-tasked in high intensity environments while upholding a standard of excellence throughout my work.

During 2016 and 2017 I was one of two volunteer student representatives on the Dickson College Board. I was an active member who took the role seriously with the goal to make a difference within the organisation. One example where I displayed initiative and enterprise was when I raised the issue of poor assessment planning and outline in certain faculties within the college, with the goal to amend the problem and improve Dickson College’s assessment procedure and rollout. An internal review was undertaken by the Principal to improve the teacher’s planning, assessment creation, and increase overall assessment consistency. There were also other cases where I undertook a project to improve the food services provided at the college. This included having meetings with the Principal as well as meeting with the food and refreshment representative to discuss potential improvements and adaptions to the current service. I initiated both of these examples by myself and was a part of the ongoing rollout process.
