• Review manual timecards for over 2,000 County employees• Calculate, prepare, and enter manual checks and cancel checks on Tyler Hub payroll system.• Assist county employees and other entities regarding payroll issues, policies, and procedures.• Generate and analyze reports biweekly to ensure accurate withholdings of mandatory and involuntary deductions when processing payrolls. • Process employee payroll records (i.e. garnishments, bankruptcies, and pay adjustments)• Prepare and submit federal and state tax payments to respective entities• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and generally accepted governmental accounting principles

• Review and input personnel actions affecting employee payroll records (i.e., salary increases, pay adjustments, employee withholdings, benefit deductions, and garnishments) • Review timecards via Kronos timekeeping system for over 2,500 County employees and enter corrections sent by departments• Calculate, prepare, and enter manual checks and cancel checks on Tyler Hub payroll system• Provide assistance and information to employees and other entities regarding payroll issues, policies, and procedures• Prepare journal entries to record payroll expenses to the proper accounts within the General ledger
