Dr. Taj is a bilingual, passionate social services innovator and strategist with legal training. She possesses the experience, education, and training to create and implement programs and facilitate community solutions.She recently launched and co-owns a community mental health agency, Kindred Harbor Behavioral Health, specializing in trauma and LGBTQIA+ affirming services. She is the creator of P.O.W.E.R. Incubator (Placing Opportunities within Everyone’s Reach), a social innovation model designed to curb recidivism and address untreated trauma symptoms among people with criminal records. She is the founder of Dr Taj Solutions, LLC, which provides motivational speaking services, as well as consulting for Cleveland’s service-oriented start-ups. She founded Vegan Mojo, LLC, a plant-based catering and public awareness organization.In addition, Dr. Taj served previously as an Infectious Disease Behavioral Health Manager at MetroHealth, a Clinical Crisis Counselor at Norma Herr Women's Center, an International Social Worker, and a Medical Social Worker at Nueva Luz Urban Resources Center.She also displays a commitment to community service, inclusion, diversity and equity through a vast array of volunteer experiences, both in the U.S. and abroad (see community engagement and service history in "Featured" section).
