•Became a voice for the cohort of 110 students effectively by working as a key link between students and staff of the Islamic studies department to seek out students' views and represent them in meetings.•Worked in partnership with staff and students to improve the overall course experience by resolving any course-related issues.•Took initiatives to improve communication with students within the department and university and created a safe and engaging platform for student interactions, which over 500 students joined.•Contributed to RUISAA events and maintained excellent relationships with the RUISAA leadership team, including Faculty members.•Guided students in administrative difficulties.•Executed intra-departmental cultural programs, picnics, and sports events, annual study tour which over 200 students and faculties joined.Skills: Time Management, Leadership, Teamwork, Communication etc.
