After completing a bachelor's degree in American Studies and a postgraduate degree in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Szeged, I became a professional freelance translator (English to Hungarian, Hungarian to English) and accumulated 3 years worth of valuable experience translating mostly academic and legal texts for several clients, including the Corvinus University of Budapest. I have also co-translated a couple of novels and solo translated a book (www.libri.hu/konyv/james_patterson.gyilkos-hazafi.html). For the next step, I wanted to try a new challenge, so I started working as a high school English teacher for 1 school year but soon started to miss the localization industry. So, to remedy this, I embarked on a new journey as a Localization Project Manager at LEG Hungary for 4+ years where I have learned the ins and outs of professional project management, successfully dealing with a wide variety of projects, CAT tools, vendors from all over the world and several high-profile clients (in fields ranging from the automotive industry to robotics). Armed with all these skills and experiences (plus a couple more I have picked up along the way), I am extremely excited to start the next chapter of my professional career at GoTo.
