1. Support EMEA distribution in the growth of ITT EMEA distribution channel. 2. Assist in the review and appointment of new and existing distributors.3. Providing day-to-day support for technical and commercial requests.4. Work together with Sales teams towards making distributors self-sufficient.5. Work with product management with any specific distributor requests and development of distributor products.6. Assist in the training of distributors and associates.

Work on multiple quotations and projects as assigned by the supervisor. Quotation scope ranges from spare parts/budget quotes and/or technical support to complete quotations in excess of $10M. The Application Engineer interfaces with Customers, Sales Engineers, ITT Factories and external vendors. In detail:1. Prepare technical and competitive proposals for customers within deadline and respond to any technical clarifications. Where necessary, secure technically and commercially compliant quotations from sub vendors for equipment.2. Enter clean orders on all our factories for pumps, parts, services, or orders for returned material. Own the clean order process and be responsible to hand over jobs to operations or to contract managers.3. Be proactive in querying customers on all quotations and proposals submitted. Follow up and follow through. Be proactive in solving problems, being customer service oriented, and dedicated to detail and getting things done correctly.

• Operating a computerised switchboard system.• Talking with potential customers, informing them about new internet based phone programs & promoting those.• Testing products and reporting faults.• Liaising with front of house staff.

Working in the department of new transportation establishments (ΔΝΕΜ) & creating drawings using a computer based software.

Providing technical support on Tetra terminals used in the Olympic Games held in Greece during summer of 2004.
