About Caitlin Christoff Taillon

Caitlin graduated from the Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) with a Bachelor of Design and knew right away that she wanted to run her own business. A youth entrepreneurship program helped her launch Take Root Creative in 2010 and she hasn’t looked back since. She has participated as a guest speaker at the North Durham Economic Forum and as a judge for the Hustle Me competition, the North Durham Business Idea Competition as well as the BYC Pitch Competition. Caitlin continues to mentor new entrepreneurs to encourage business growth in her hometown of Uxbridge. Along with running Take Root Creative, Caitlin actively volunteers in the community with various initiatives and was a member of the Rotary Club of Uxbridge for over 10 years.Outside of marketing, Caitlin is inspired by architectural magazines, art history, used book stores and watching movie trailers. In her down time she loves to watch baking shows, knit, take care of her plants (a new hobby), play board games and spend as much time as possible with her husband and two kids.
