"Tokey has owned Tokey's Treats LLC. for five years, helping women reconnect with their bodies after trauma. This is achieved through educational classes, the podcast "Cookie Secrets, community events, and small intimate mental health events. Tokey uses her experience as a military veteran and her community outreach experience that she gained in places like Washington D.C., Maryland, San Franciso, CA, and Seattle to develop programs to benefit her hometown of Braddock, Pennsylvania. With her recent employment with the Center for Healthcare Solutions, she has accomplished creating a food pantry in Braddock and also successfully hosted monthly mental health events. These events are the catalyst for change in the community. As a "Mental Health Warrior", Tokey believes the first step in supporting a community is keeping them in their mental health process. Mental health is a huge part of health care services. Tokey wants to meet people where they are so they can begin healing and live more productive and happier lives.
