After graduating from Tohoku University, I entered the doctoral program of the same university and engaged in research on the role of physical properties of model cell membranes in self-renewal function. I conducted not only experiments and theoretical construction, but also designed and developed analysis programs.Upon completion of my master's degree, I received the Department of Physics Award at Tohoku University Graduate School of Science for his research on three-dimensional image analysis of model cell membranes.After obtaining the Ph.D, I joined PTP Inc. as a data scientist to utilize my logical thinking skills and programming experience in research activities.Using my knowledge of statistical analysis and causal inference, I have led commercial effectiveness measurement projects in collaboration with the marketing departments of major companies such as beverage manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies.I was then promoted to manager of the data science department, where I managed analytical projects. From August 2019, I joined the activities of Japan Research Activity Support Co. due to my interest in medical applications of machine learning, and developed machine learning models for medical laboratories and introduced artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to medical journals. I have also written articles on artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies for medical journals. I also conducted a research on estimating the age of chest X-ray images by machine learning and visualizing the basis for the judgment, which was presented at the 2nd Japan Medical AI Conference. Since May 2020, I have been hired by Japan Research Activity Support Co. as a Chief Engineer and have been working for more than a year on the company's AI analysis support for medical research labs and big data analysis support for next-generation sequencers, from PM to programming. I presented our work on a technique for learning 3D segmentation of medical MRI images with a large-scale network at the 3rd Japan Medical AI Conference.
