I collaborate with local government and restaurants to secure sponsorships for these initiatives. Additionally, I volunteer at the Teens Center in Beaufort, NC and Lady Sunshine in Morehead City weekly.

Conduct zebrafish research on lysosome-rich enterocytes (LREs) in embryonic zebrafish, investigating mechanisms of intracellular protein digestion and trans-cellular transport under the guidance of post-doc Indrasen Magre. Perform a variety of lab techniques, including genotyping, RNA synthesis, PCR, DNA extraction, single-cell injections, microscopy, and gavage techniques. Lead data analysis and presented on findings from mutations in snx8a/snx8b and their effects on cargo uptake in select regions.

I coordinate media requests and interviews with student-athletes and coaches, attend all live games, and work closely with game-day crew.
