With over 14 years of experience in medical engineering, I am a Specialist Medical Engineer at Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust, where I manage the life cycle of medical devices and equipment across the hospital. I ensure the safety, performance, and compliance of the devices, as well as provide technical advice and support to the clinical staff and users. Previously, I fulfilled the same role as a Medical Engineer with Siemens Healthineers, having begun my career at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust, where I gained valuable skills in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and calibration of various medical systems and technologies. Working closely with clinical staff in the neurosurgical environment I gained knowledge of high value navigational systems and surgical equipment. My core competencies include medical device management, biomedical engineering, technical support, quality assurance, and regulatory standards compliance. I am passionate about improving patient care and outcomes through innovative and reliable medical engineering solutions. I value teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning and development.
