SGI Advisory is focused on identifying best-in-class investment managers specialized in underpenetrated asset classes and assisting them in structuring and placing first-to-market Sharia-compliant products targeting GCC investors. SGI Advisory partners with investment managers that have a unique story and superb track record but have not yet penetrated the regional investor base. We then work with the manager to structure a product that caters to the preferences of GCC investors. SGI Advisory also promotes business development between the GCC and China by partnering with leading companies who wish to enter new markets. Most recently, we have partnered with one of the largest Chinese construction companies to establish operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Advised Dar Al Mal’s shareholders on the sale of an industrial manufacturing plant.Structured mezzanine investment into a South India-based real estate developer and established key risk controls through negotiations with the firm’s founders.Performed financial analysis and transaction structuring for a large, mixed-use development in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.Presented investment opportunities to investors and met with potential partners to develop business opportunities.Interfaced and negotiated with various service providers including legal council, fund administrators and other investment advisory and support professionals.Assisted in developing and implementing the company’s IT and business infrastructure through Goldmine CRM, Microsoft Project 2010, Microsoft Project Hosts EPM and 4Projects cloud document hosting.
