About Talbert Lauter

Hello, I am Tally Lauter. In 2012 I was fortunate to become a Director of Human Resources with AIM HR. I provide onsite Human Resource services for several businesses in the Boston South and Cambridge areas. I also facilitate provide training in several units of the Human Resource and Supervisory Certificate Series. Before working for AIM I worked for several large / medium size Manufacturing Companies as an Engineer, Plant Manager and Human Resource Professional since 1970. The companies were public as well as private or family owned businesses. With many of the companies I had extensive union experience. During the time I have worked in Massachusetts Companies all of them were/are members of AIM and I have always found AIM to be a valued asset and I personally participated as a member in AIM HR roundtables, seminars and committees.

    • Reported directly to the President and COO of Twin Rivers Technologies, establishing a Human Resource department as the Company grew from a single location with 85 employees to three locations in two states and 230 employees.• Negotiated initial labor agreements with newly acquired plants removing restrictive language for overtime and pensions. Established a basis for a self directed workforce with reduced supervision.• Managed the closure in 2005 of the fatty acid plant in Painesville Ohio represented by the Steelworkers Union. Process competed with no grievances or worker compensation claims.• Company purchased in 2007 by FELDA of Malaysia. Responsible for the assimilation of 6 Malaysians into TRT with appropriate training for the domestic organization.• Managed the RIF caused by the recession of 2008-2009 using the opportunity to eliminate poor performers. • Set up the framework for the HR function and benefits for a new TRT soybean crushing plant in Becancour Canada.
