As the senior architect for the Appian BPM suite for US West Accounts, responsibilities include providing guidance and governance on best practices throughout the BPM application development lifecycle and providing design guidance during key milestones on customer facing projects. Architected applications for Insurance Underwriting, Mortgage Processing, Home Equity Loans, Anti-Money Laundering, Risk Appetite and Compliance. Integration work has included integrating Appian with SAML, WebServices, JMS, RDBMS, Document Management Systems (Documentum, Filenet) and MuleSoft.Architected infrastructure for both Amazon EC2 Cloud and on-premise systems. On-premise solutions included highly available multi-tiered systems with disaster recovery. Technologies leveraged included F5, SnapMirror and Oracle Data Gaurd. As an principal consultant I provided guidance evaluations and implementation for Business Process Management projects for strategic customers of Appian. I also lead a team of experts that provided architectural support to Appian Professional Services teams directly engaged with clients. This includes guidance around Server Infrastructure, MQ Integrations, Single Sign On (SSO), Database Design, Cloud and any other technical challenges that the teams face.Responsible for providing quarterly executive presentations through a product called Appian Labs for several customer accounts. These presentations provide both program and technical direction to the client executives. These updates are backed by regular engagements with delivery teams to determine areas in which they excel and areas that present risk based on my experience from previous engagements.

Leveraged Cast Iron to map data between SAP, Salesforce and DB2 for a client in the pharmaceutical industry.

Lead Developer of an automated test harness implemented by a global team of developers for testing 40 feed handlers on multiple platforms (Linux,Windows,AIX,Solaris). The framework utilized prerecorded tcp dumps of feeds from the exchanges to verify that the feed handlers successfully processed incoming market data.Designed and developed the client portion of IBM's realtime low latency market data platform which included C++, Java and .NET sample versions of the Market Data Subscriber application. The market data sample applications provided the capability to subscribe to various feeds through the Object Distribution Server.

Developed the J2EE Administration Component for the Workplace Client Technology Application. The J2EE Administration component allowed for central management of the desktop application at bank branches and for the provisioning of updated software to desktop applications.

Developed J2EE applications utilizing IBM Content Manager for the enterprise file management of various clients such as CNN and National Geographic.

Taught Introduction to HTML and CSS as a part of University of Texas' Informal Classes program.
