It syncs data from various sources, and supports advanced search, lists, tags and custom columns.• Shipped a proprietary Portfolio Management system, which serves as the single source of truth for all portfolio information across public tokens and private investments. The system supports various positions and performance dashboards, as well as manages trades, investments, staking and conversion workflows, with support for tax lots.• Integrated a BI platform into our main app, which lets everyone in the company create embedded analytics data visualizations that combine our internal data with public crypto datasets.• Architected and delivered a scalable backend leveraging managed services including GKE, AirFlow, AlloyDB, Elastic, Snowflake, Sigma, and a React based UI hosted & scaled in Next.js.• Partnered with all the teams across the company to clarify requirements, prioritize effectively and respond to changing needs quickly.

• Built and led the platform team, creating new innovative services to solve complex business problems as well as stabilizing and modernizing existing services.• Designed and led a team to deliver an enterprise-wide app and infra monitoring platform. Built a distributed, in-memory, continuous query engine that detects and alerts conditions the moment they happen. Platform currently processing tens of millions of messages per second, and is used by almost all employees daily.• Designed and led a team to deliver an enterprise-wide reporting platform. Inverted the data quality model, by owning message specs, and implementing real-time message validation, which ensured that only high-quality data makes it to Books and Records. The platform allows for unlimited concurrent reports and ETLs execution, includes all of the firm’s internal, client, and regulatory reports, and alerts on thresholds or if a report didn’t run. Designed a new reporting framework that executes completely in the warehouse, reducing the time to run our largest report from hours to minutes. • Stabilized the entire database fleet, through defining database criticality levels, mapping hundreds of instances to the right category and migrating them to the proper HA & DR setup accordingly.• Delivered managed Kubernetes platform for the firm, automating k8s clusters deployment and lifecycle management, integrating support for security, networking and storage. • Improved resilience of prod-critical SDLC services, across both on-prem and cloud-based deployments. • Delivered and scaled a QA testing environment allocation system, including support for prod config cloning, and deterministic playback of market data. • Shipped a general purpose, config-driven, web app development framework, to which all of the firm’s web apps are migrating to.• Defined and owned tech standards for the entire firm, across databases, messaging, container orchestration, monitoring and alerting.

• Lead 100-person engineering team, delivering DC/OS: a unified platform for containers and big data, including: Security, Networking, Storage, CLI, UI, cloud & on premise Installers, Universe (App Store), Data Services (Kafka, Cassandra, HDFS, Spark, and Elastic), and Kubernetes (HA and secure by default on DC/OS).• Implemented a lightweight and predictable release train model, and created vertically integrated teams, with clear mission and responsibilities, resulting in high quality product, timely and predictable releases, as well as higher engagement and morale.• Oversaw the entire development process, from reviewing every feature development plan across components, through testing, beta programs, and field enablement. Helped price, shape, accelerate features and close deals, resulting in many 7-figure even some 8-figure transactions.

• Hired, lead and scaled the engineering team from 6 to 50 engineers. Responsible for architecting, building, testing, maintaining and supporting SOASTA’s products: CloudTest (Cloud-Based Load & Performance Testing), mPulse (Real-User Monitoring) & TouchTest (Mobile Functional Test Automation).• Implemented a rapid development and release process which resulted in 4 major releases & 50 updates in the first year, and accelerated from there. Maintained detailed schedules, tracked progress closely, and consistently shipped release on time, with great quality and performance.• Formed teams, and mentored key members of the engineering team to lead them. Promoted, coached and advised engineering leaders to advance their leadership skills, and develop their careers from managers, to directors & VPs.• Collaborated with Product Management, Sales and Marketing to build and maintain the pricing schedules and product tiers for all products. Created detailed pricing machine spreadsheets by rolling up costs to maintain a high and consistent gross-margin, and allowed for various discount levels at various deal sizes.• Worked closely with WW Sales on customer engagements, resulting in many $50K - $2M deals. Travelled and presented to key customers and prospects executives in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Shaped deals across multiple products and services. Delivered features and performance enhancements on incredibly tight deadlines for many Fortune 500 companies.• Worked with partners to build & integrate products, and develop go to market strategy, including: Amazon, IBM, Microsoft, CA, Accenture & Cognizant.• Presented the company, products and technologies to analyst firms, including Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and 451 Research. Efforts resulted in placing SOASTA in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Software Testing Suites.• Presented in industry conferences including Velocity and Star West. Efforts resulted in mPulse winning the Best in Show Award in Velocity 2013.

Invented, architected and lead the implementation, testing and timely delivery of these key product capabilities:• mPulse, SOASTA’s Real User Monitoring – a SaaS product. At the heart of mPulse we built a sophisticated analytics engine which supports both fast, in-memory queries, as well as large Big Data queries. Dashboards and alerts are based on (ad-hoc) Continuous Queries (which remain open in memory and the data flows through them), with support for small and large Time Windows (minutes to months), Time Zones, Filtering and Grouping. • Data Meiosis (patent pending). This framework scales the mPulse data storage layer from 1 database to n shared-nothing databases, without any down time, and without any performance impact (using a split, map & compact approach). • Non-Disruptive Upgrades using a “Buddy System” design. Deploy a new Environment, and each new collector would “buddy up” with an old collector, which will continue to process its beacons, while also forwarding them to its “buddy”. Then we switched the DNS entries and customers’ dashboard simply reloaded to run the new version. • What-If Analysis dashboard (patent pending), allowed customers to model the impact of every millisecond of latency on any metric from their site of mobile app in a visual widget, using sliders to model scenarios of better or worse performance.• Waterfall Dashboard, which allowed mPulse to deliver a full waterfall chart on each beacon we collected, using Amazon S3 as the storage layer. Customers were able to drill down from high level aggregates down into each and every individual page view, and understand exactly which component of the page is the bottleneck. • Onboarding and Payments. The onboarding flow starts at the website, takes the user through tour of the product, then to the signup page with a detailed feature matrix, and encourages the user to upgrade to the paid version, while allowing online payments inside the product itself.

Invented, architected and lead the implementation, testing and timely delivery of these key product capabilities:• CloudTest’s Cross-Cloud Test Grid (patent granted). This technology allows CloudTest customers to deploy thousands of test servers across 40 cloud platforms, including: Amazon, Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud, HP Cloud, RackSpace, GoGrid, Dimension Data, QingCloud. Grids would deploy within minutes, in a single unified UI, with a click of a button. The system would self-heal on issues, and migrate workloads between availability zones, regions and clouds.• Real Time Analytics at any test scale (patent granted). This capability of producing an analytic stream that’s never more than 5 seconds behind real time positioned CloudTest as the product that can run the world’s largest load tests, and allowed SOASTA to acquire many high end customers. • CloudTest Dynamic Ramp dashboard (patent pending). This dashboard allows customers to scale the load up & down while the load test is in progress, across thousands of load generators deployed across 20 different cloud providers globally. Together, these 3 capabilities created a new way of testing no possible before – Load Testing in Production. This allowed SOASTA to positioned itself as the only game in town for the high-end web properties that simply couldn’t reproduce their performance and scalability issues in the lab, or test without real-time analytics or dynamic control of ramp.• CloudTest Lite. This freemium, limited-functionality product exposed CloudTest to over 100,000 DevOps globally.• CloudTest Manager, a central Environments’ deployment and management system which allowed SOASTA customers to deploy Environments when they needed them, and collapse them down when they are done testing. This system also functioned as the central licensing server, supported upgrades, and benefitted from bicoastal disaster recovery. When EC2 East went down in 2013, no SOASTA customers were affected.

• Lead the geographically distributed Oracle BAM (Business Activity Monitoring) engineering team, in a 3 year project overseeing 25 engineers, to complete the Java port of the BAM product. • Played a key role in the go to market strategy of the BAM product by evangelizing the Oracle BAM product and architecture to customers’ executives and IT architects, increasing the product’s customer base from 12 to 140 in a year.• Drove the acquisition of Sunopsis, Oracle’s next generation ETL tool. Delivered the integration of BAM and Sunopsis one month after starting the negotiations.• Re-architected Oracle’s ADF (on top of which all Fusion apps were built) for improved performance, reducing page load time from 15 seconds to 2 seconds. Introduced real time streaming updates to ADF.

• Responsible for designing the entire product architecture, including all servers, and web applications. • Drove the technical representation of Istante as a potential acquisition target for PeopleSoft. Succeeded in positioning Istante as the selected vendor, after a competitive 12 month proof of concept. • Participated in all of the aspects of the PeopleSoft acquisition, including technical and non-technical due diligence, negotiating the price and terms of the contract, providing acquisition timelines, and negotiating the positions and titles of all of the employees.• Lead the entire engineering team, under extreme pressure, to successfully deliver new features and performance and scalability enhancements, while executing on the PeopleSoft proof of concept. • Designed and implemented the key differentiator of the Istante product - a robust push based mechanism to stream delta changes in real time to the client browser. • Lead the transformation of the engineering team’s approach towards web development, introducing the concept of Object Oriented programming in JavaScript.

• Managed, lead and participated in the project of merging the two large-scale back end servers into one smaller and more efficient server. The project was completed ahead of time, without losing any of the functionality, while improving performance and scalability.• Replaced a legacy Visual Basic client application with HTML-based web app.
