As part of the Therapy and Clinical Services team, I would provide direct support to children with Autism.Under the supervision of experienced therapists and clinicians, Autism Association of Western Australia Therapy Assistants:Implement therapy and community support programsParticipate in a training and mentoring programAre part of a passionate multidisciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Early Childhood TeachersAre trained in a unique Autism Specific Early Intervention program based on best practice principlesLearn about our collaborative model and develop a toolbox of practical strategies that best support children with Autism

Provide arts assistance and supervision of art workshops with a focus on mental health and well-being. These have included working with young people with behaviour issues at a library drop-in program, young people with disabilities in a digital art program and young people facing mental health difficulties in the mental health ward at Perth Children's Hospital.
