As an intern at the political department, I contributed to writing reports on current political themes in Germany. I prepared case documents before meetings with both private and political actors. During my internship I coordinated visits to the embassy and held presentations on the Norwegian foreign ministry’s role in Germany and was responsible for the tours around the embassy building. In my stay I learned how to work with multiple stakeholders and I improved my communication skills.

Bergen Area, Norway

During my internship at the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration I mainly worked with a large business survey in the western region of Norway. Furthermore, I worked with a research project on European employment service and presented the results to the organization. The internship taught me how to work together on an extensive research project and how to present results from a quantitative analysis in an engaging way.

After several years as a volunteer in the organization I was elected vice president of Save the Children’s Youth division in Norway. I held the administrative responsibility, including applications for funds, and employer liability. My other tasks included the planning of seminars and political events together with other political and volunteer organizations.
