After the pandemic, I decided to venture into a different role that would test and strengthen my skill set. Here I advised, brokered, and closed a Management / Merger deal for one of the most exclusive hotels in Jakarta. I managed the negotiation between a large Spain-based conglomerate and a family-owned construction business that owns the hotel. One of the largest IT recruitment agencies in the UK and US, I was headhunted and brought in specifically to start up a new Sales Recruitment division in their Central London office. Was responsible for full recruitment life cycle from opening to closing deals. I was also responsible for cold calling for new business and the whole recruitment process, as a result of this I was bringing on an average of 6 to 8 new clients on every week. Most of my business was through pro actively sourcing candidates from direct competitors in other words head hunting. I have always been a firm believer in the fact good sales people are those with jobs, there fore you will night find the high caliber candidates you seek on job boards. I was also involved in training junior consultants on, cold calling and head hunting.

Working for a small Sales Recruitment firm my responsibilities included building up relationships with new clients, calling them daily/weekly for vacancies and to ensure they were happy with our services. Sourcing candidates on a daily basis and pushing for interviews. Placing permanent candidates within sales job roles. Conducting reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis via excel to monitor live jobs, clients, candidates, CV’s sent and so on. This was my first job with in recruitment and it gave me the core foundations to become a successful recruitment consultant.
