By using County general fund revenue to capitalize the program, it has created an extremely flexible source of gap financing able to apply to uses ineligible for other public financing programs, while prioritizing and accelerating infrastructure improvements critical to economic growth.Columbus Region Energy Fund, Franklin County Commissioners, Columbus, OHMr. Beres, on behalf of the Franklin County Commissioners, negotiated and structured the financial capitalization and process for an energy efficiency loan fund administered by the Columbus-Franklin Finance Authority. Tax Increment Financing Incentive District NegotiationsMr. Beres, on behalf of the Franklin County Commissioners and the Franklin County Social Service Levy Agencies, lead the negotiations and structuring of 3 complex and unique to the State of Ohio Tax Increment Financing Incentive Districts with the Cities of: Dublin, Hilliard, and Worthington. His negotiations lead to an estimated total of $6,500,000 in additional public infrastructure improvement funding for the development projects, while also providing side compensation with the County Social Service Agencies.
