This portfolio spans utility-scale and distributed generation projects in wind and solar energy.Project Development: Leading the origination, development, and execution of transformative energy projects. Notably, I led the contract negotiation and signing for a 9.6 MW Wind Project with Power Cement, and I am currently focused on achieving financial close for this project. Additionally, I oversee energy efficiency initiatives, battery storage solutions, and renewable energy projects totaling approximately 25 MW in distributed generation and 200 MW in utility-scale capacities.Team Building: Assembling and nurturing high-performing teams across key departments, including Investment, Technical, and Finance. This project was structured as a 20-year Rental Agreement on a Build-Own-Operate basis and financed with an 80:20 debt-to-equity ratio.IPO Equity Management: Played a pivotal role in the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Burj Clean Energy Modaraba by securing bank approvals for equity investment. This achievement was crucial in ensuring the successful launch of Pakistan’s first green-listed fund.Process Formalization: Developed and formalized internal processes for investment approvals, including creating detailed memos and presentations for the Investment Committee.

In my role as Investment Director at Burj Capital, I am responsible for leading and managing the company's offshore investments across a diverse range of industries and regions. My role involves strategic oversight, deal execution, and investment management to drive our global growth.Key Responsibilities and Achievements:Offshore Investment Leadership: Leading Burj Capital’s offshore investment initiatives in multiple regions, including Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Africa, and Dubai. This project underscores our commitment to advancing renewable energy solutions in key international markets.Sri Lanka: Securing a mandate for a 500 MW Independent Power Producer (IPP) scale rooftop solar project. I played a crucial role in preparing the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), preparing the information memorandum for lender approvals, and developing the tariff model to achieve tariff approval.Pitchbooks and Decks: Preparing comprehensive pitchbooks and presentation decks for Burj Capital’s international transactions. These materials are instrumental in showcasing our investment opportunities and securing stakeholder engagement.

- Executed the initial public offerings (IPO) of PKR 4,488mn for Pakistan Stock Exchange as book runner, and IPO of PKR 758mn for Matco Food Limited as advisor and book runner. Both IPOs were oversubscribed- Led the execution of Debt Syndication transaction of PKR 10,800mn for upgradation of oil pipeline for Pak-Arab Pipeline Company Limited as lead arranger and advisor- Executed the asset acquisition transaction for JK Sugar Mills Pvt. Ltd. of syndicated debt facility of PKR 4,480mn

- Prepared credit proposal's recommendations encompassing thorough financial and credit analysis for Transactions with an acceptance rate of 90%- Successfully supervised two members' team to develop Obligor Risk Rating Scorecard along with template of Financial Spread Analysis for both Insurance Companies and Corporate entities

- Recipient of award for outstanding performance in ‘Developing Commercial Financing Portfolio for 2014’,- Effectively handled the credit relationships with approved limits exceeding PKR 5,500 covering sectors namely Textile, Edible Oil, and Commodities (Wheat and Rice)- Successfully structured (shariah-complaint) and executed first ever Import Istisna transaction of PKR 330mn for procurement of wheat in short span of time.

- Analyzed credit proposals focusing on facilities' limits structure, security analysis, financial stability of borrower, loan repayment ability, and credit history to date - Advised and assisted TL/RM/RA in preparing a high quality credit proposal while ensuring compliance with SBP PRs & Bank’s Credit Policy.- Detailed analysis of financial statements to determine the debt repayment capacity, and review of capital structure & profitability of the borrower.
