Hello!I am a communications operator (CO2) with the Ontario Provincial Police, before working in telecommunications, I worked as a social worker for various agencies such as Good Shepherd & Salvation Army Lawson Ministries Hamilton (SALMH). Before working in telecommunications and social work, I have obtained 6+ years of experience in Retail working as a key holder for companies such as Sol'exotica, La Senza, and Dynamite. I also have experience working for RYAN Plumbing Ltd. as an administration assistant. My work and my education has aided me into the woman and team player that I am today by showing me what it's like to work with others who share the same passion for helping others as well as my province as I do. Working in telecommunications it is a complete change from retail because time is of the essence! You have to remain calm when the caller is having the worst day of their life. You are collecting every piece of information possible so the officers on the road are updated and aware. I am very excited to start dispatching, and I can see my career in emergency telecommunications flourishing. During my journey in the retail sales world, I have learned how to be a master at customer service, a perfectionist towards the organization, and a strong leader for my staff but most importantly, a genuine FRIEND that they can always count on. What keeps me going is my passion for helping others and answering that calling, which lead me onto the path of going to college and earning my diploma in Social Work via Mohawk College in April of 2022. I'm a girl who loves to travel to see the world (visiting countries such as; Jamaica, Bahamas, Cuba, Mexico, and many more to come), getting my hands dirty in some arts and crafts in my downtime (started a small business for soy candles during the COVID-19 pandemic), loving animals (more importantly my dogs Lincoln and Mya).I am very thankful for my fiancé, Robert, who always pushes me to strive for amazing opportunities, and I am just very grateful with what doors have opened for me in my life.
