Working as an on-call illustrator for the Capilano Courier, I create dynamic and engaging illustrations that aim to embody an article. The majority of my work with the Courier consists of social, racial, and queer activism pieces.

For the past 6 years, I've been taking both fine art and illustration commissions from trusted clients. Luckily, I've been asked to do almost everything; from 7-foot wide landscape paintings to multi-eyed abstract women, all the way to dancing skeleton tattoos, I've met every challenge with enthusiasm and a new technique. My art has been shown in multiple shows and live events, including SNAG Vancouver and the Kelowna Art Gallery. I have to admit though, my heart lies in making giant, abstract paintings with tons of colour and texture that feel alive and full of joy.

I had the wonderful experience of working with the small but mighty team at TSC under Creative Director Alexis Young, as one of their two full-time designers. The company prioritized working with dynamic, up and coming businesses--ranging from locally owned skincare lines to brand new top-of-the-line gyms.The wonderful thing about being on such a small team--there's no area you can't get your hands dirty in. From assisting on art direction, interior design, merch design and production, illustration, print packaging, animation, brand development, web design, to the full process of photo/videoshoot days, I am happy reflecting on my time with the company knowing that the multidisciplinary nature of my position was a rare one.

Working as a Junior Designer on Third Space Life Charities Student Connections initiative, I work to create a cohesive social media presence, promotional print and digital material, as well as design for and manage the Student Connections website. Working with a variety of community partners, including The Foundry, UBCO Psychology Clinic, UBCO Problematic Substance Abuse Clinic, Okanagan College, we aim to provide affordable, non-intimidating mental health care for students and the community members and members of the community between 19-29 years old.
