As a social media consultant, I specialize in helping non-profit organizations reach their goals. In this capacity, I have worked with the World Jewish Congress, Noodle Education, Shira Dicker Media International, and numerous synagogues, small nonprofits, and individual changemakers. I conduct a full-scale audit of current social media presence, the needs and capabilities, and I create an in-depth plan to achieve success. I conduct webinars on, among other things, how to use paid content to reach new audiences, how to best utilize and learn from analytics, why social media is an important tool for reaching organizational goals, and how to turn your employees into brand ambassadors. As a freelance editor, I specialize in memoir and creative nonfiction, particularly long-form. I am a certified proofreader, and a seasoned copy, content, and developmental editor. Other experience includes website marketing copy and grant applications.

I manage the digital operation of Hadassah Magazine with the goal of driving audience development and engagement. I create and implement a social media strategy that expands the magazine’s reach on social networks and increases traffic to the magazine’s website. I write, solicit, edit, and post original content for the magazine; create photo and video content; and increase engagement and a sense of community. I produce and manage the magazine’s monthly e-newsletter and other digital projects, and work with the magazine’s senior editors to manage the magazine’s website and ensure that site content is up-to-date and engaging. Additionally, I develop partnerships and cultivate relationships with other outlets with complementary goals.

I produced daily posts for social platforms, recalibrated strategies based on analytics and evolving tools, worked with key staff to identify and implement dynamic campaigns, and managed the organization’s social media calendar. Additionally, I trained staff and volunteers around the country on social media best practices, and created and maintained digital guidelines and tip sheets.
