• Preparing 11th and 12th grade ELLs for the ELA Regents Examination• Engaging students through activities designed for maximum interaction in large and small groups• Implementing AP Capstone Seminar skills • Developing individualized learning plans and strategies based on students’ academic achievements• Implementing data-driven instruction• Providing skills to prepare students for SAT examination• Differentiating instruction based on MAP Growth Assessment and NYSESLAT Results• Integrating AVID strategies into daily lessons• Modifying ELA curriculum to meet students needs• Evaluating students progress based on their language progression• Implementing formal and summative assessments• Integrating the UDL approach into the lesson planning• Co Teaching with an ELA teacher

• Modify the general education curriculum for students with special needs• Coordinate and supervise an overall implementation of the IEP process including: organization of an alternative schedule, supervision of teachers, and communication with parents• Supervise and mentor General Studies teachers in classroom management and coordination of classroom activities in terms of curriculum planning, testing, and preparing students for standardized tests• Coordinate and organize School Parent-Teacher Conferences• Analyze students’ academic performance and socio-economic status for funding purposes (Title I General and Title I Educational)• Organize, coordinate and maintain a productive working environment with Third-Party Providers who serve Title I students • Counsel and supervise seniors’ college preparation (SAT applications, college applications, college essays, FAFSA applications, informative meetings with parents, work with college representatives)• Prepare school schedule

• Teach ESL to 9th and 10th graders• Develop an adapted curriculum which is appropriate to students’ academic level and their learning abilities• Administer, score, and supervise the NYSESLAT to English Language Learners• Implement Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences concepts in order to meet students’ different learning styles and needs• Provide services for students with IEPs• Address students’ needs through implementation of differentiated instructions• Provide students’ with accomodated instruction and assessment based on their IEPs • Expand the range of learning possibilities through individual and small group instruction for students with special needs
