Holding the position of Trade Finance department deputy starting from Jan 2014 gave me the chance to enhance my management and technical skills by providing leadership and management to the business also being fully responsible for the day- to-day running of various departments’ transactions and interrelationships with other bank’s department boosted my experience. Focused on team’s cross-training programs that deliver efficiencies and playing a leading role in the mobilization, development, knowledge transfer and, implementation of robust operational processes.

Validated, checked and controlled all transactions related to TFD in addition to all incoming and outgoing swifts (Expert in All kind of swifts). Served as B2 signatory authorization. Reported Central Bank on monthly basis regarding Export / Import, and Internal. Reconciled and Audited (Bank statements), International negotiations and corresponding- Control missions over 5 branches. Reviewed and checked customer’s application and processed all completed document on each applicable stage as well as worked on dispatching funding request to Funding Section, checked repayment advice in order to ensure the transaction of both import and export businesses are processed timely and correctly and comply with both Internal and external (SAFE) policies. Managed customer Relationships in all their queries on bank’s product and sought resolution to requests as well as did marketing job in increasing fee-based activities. Followed up overdue import/export bills and dealt with customers to resolve problems relating to discrepancies spotted on import/export bills. Performed and ensured registration/system update of Foreign Currency Loan, International receipt and payment declaration, Commercial Bank Credit Rating, and Enterprise Credit Rating in order to comply with local regulators (SAFE/ PBOC). Checked and verified information prepared by Trade Finance Clerk, and prepared relevant information for developing both internal and external reports for SAFE/ PBOC.

Dealt with international (foreign) and local letter of guarantees, remittance for collection, payment orders (operations tasks), export commitments, and letter of credits (issuance and negotiations). Applied Central Bank Laws and Regulations), controlled over the record maintenance/ filing of signed applications and all supporting documents. Assisted in risk management matters by establishing a framework to assess the legal/operational risks facing the department’s activities.
