The Violence Intervention Program (VIP) is group counseling for male perpetrators of domestic abuse and family violence, which uses a psycho-educational modality. The curriculum for the program utilizes a variety of topics designed to address different aspects of family violence and abuse. The program emphasizes taking responsibility for personal choices, and being held accountable for them, as well as the recognition and elimination of power and control by perpetrators of domestic abuse.
