Responsibilities:-Assess daily volume of all routes to utilize properly sized vehicles and ensure changing route times are communicated to drivers. -Maintain current SSL specific KPI’s for all critical parts customers.-Work with Corporate Recruiting and Safety: Interview, screen, and orientate the best Independent Contractor driver candidates available.-Assist central dispatch with routing, scheduling, training, and administration to meet service needs. -Confirm scheduled routes with drivers daily -Make deliveries as required.-Manage a site process that facilitates weekly collection of required paperwork as cycled by Independent Contractor drivers weekly to ensure customer details are received.-Collect and return paperwork as cycled by Independent Contractor drivers weekly to ensure customer details are received.-Maintain daily driver standards including uniform, appearance, paperwork, attitude, and compliance.-Improve service and overall relationship with both customers and drivers through a solution based approach. -Call on vendors and approved customer contacts monthly.-Establish relationship and maintain relationship with all clients including Choice Logistics, DHL, FedEx, UPS and more-Ability to maintain Independent Contractor fleet including coverage levels, reporting issues, on site orientation, and compliance. -Complete daily customer reports within required time parameters.

UPSMI changed their warehouse and logistics team to Relay Express. i followed over to them so that I could continue to provide my services on that account.
