Bob hosted the Talking with Heroes audio and video talk show programs from 2005-2019. This includes embedding five times with our troops in Iraq and three times with our troops in Afghanistan. I am the Founder and host of Talking with Heroes Talk Show. audio and video programs. What we do is not about politics. We have been interviewing 10+ years men and women who serve and have served so that they can share their mostly untold stories. We also do what we can to help military support and veterans groups and others who take actions to support our troops and their families. This includes collaborating for a few years now with an alliance of support groups www.r4alliance.org From 2006-2011 I/we made 5 trips to Iraq and 3 to Afghanistan interviewing our military and going on missions with them. In 2016-2019 we filmed and did interviews at even more Video Programs going on the road at Military Support - Recreational Therapy Organizations Retreats and Events.

I began our talk show late 2005. I started doing audio over the internet programs on Sunday evenings. Then from 2006 to late 2011 I made 5 trips to Iraq and 3 to Afghanistan. Early 2012 due to health issues and 7 surgeries including prostate cancer and 3 foot surgeries, I went back to audio over the internet programs. www.blogtalkradio.com/talkingwithheroes1 And late 2015 and into 2016 as we are able to raise the travel funds and I can have help getting around... we did more Video Programs with Members of www.r4alliance.org focusing on how Recreational Therapy is in fact making a big difference in the lives of thousands of our men and women who are serving and have served and their/our families.

We continue our mission and do all we can to get our Active Duty Militery, Veterans, Families, Caregivers, Military Support Groups, Recreational Therapy Non Profits stories in their own words on audio and video programs..

I, Bob Calvert, Started TalkingwithHeroes.com Talk show a few years after my daughter surprised me by enlisting in the Army in Kansas City (2002). Close to two years later I moved by Ft Riley to be near my daughter and her husband. Before my husbands second deployment he was then based at Ft Carson and my daughter was a civiliam again. From 2005-2011 I went on missions with our troops (5 trips to Iraq and 3 to Afghanistan filming. Since my last trip to Iraq and Afghanistan I have battled with 7 surgeries, stage4cancer, neck and back and knees problems. And after three months with Covid I had 2 years with memory loss and breathing challenges. I have reached out to two very large companies should they choose too they could cause our 500 Videos to be seen by Many Millons. I worked for many years as an Independent distributor with a well known network marketing company and achieved much success over a 5 year period. After that I had a number of sales positions. For many years in Kansas City I was in and out of the delivery and trucking business including owning a delivery company for years with multiple vans, two straight trucks and renting an 18-wheeler.
