Supervised by Lexi Welanetz-Bursin, Psy.D. PSY16306. I specialize in providing a safe space where my clients feel understood and accepted exactly as they are. I hold a Doctorate in Law and Master’s in Clinical Psychology, which provide the backdrop of knowledge about the human experience. After spending years facilitating professional trainings, I have unique understanding of the pressures of surviving in corporate America. I'm committed to helping professionals cope with work-related stress, find life's balance, consider and guide through career transitioning (if necessary), to manage anxiety, depression and to navigate relationship issues. I'm passionate about helping parents and adolescents understand the unique stressors of their relationship. Prior to starting a private practice, I counseled teenage girls dealing with depression, poor self-image, bullying, changes in family structure, peer pressure, isolation, sexual dilemmas, gender issues and academic performance distress. In addition, my love of horses and nature led me to work with a non-profit institute facilitating Equine-Assisted psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families who were victims of crimes, involved in domestic violence, children in foster care and anyone seeking non-traditional therapy in an outdoor, natural setting. Horses and nature are known to provide healing energy and create the backdrop for deep transformation. In addition to my clinical experience, I have received training in child and adolescent development, trauma, grief work, mindfulness, adolescent brain development, collaborative language recovery model therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, CBT, Psychodynamic Therapy and LA State Bar Mediation training. .www.talktomichele.comwww.frccla.com/los-angeles-psychologist-counseling/michele-hahn/
