Recruited a team of 30+ people, made up of Expatriates and Kenyan Nationals, from people on the ground to senior Board level and supported the successful candidates and their families with their relocation to their new base in Nairobi.Once the new incumbents were in situ I designed an induction programme and then managed their ongoing HR requirements such as creation of employment contracts and alignment with existing Kenyan policies and procedures, carried out executive salary benchmarking, probationary reviews, an ongoing annual appraisal system, and aligned the expatriate salary and benefits package with the Kenyan Nationals to ensure equality.I then went on to work on a huge change project in the UK Head Office, launching redundancy consultation and working closely with the Trade Union to ensure it ran smoothly.
