• Plan and procure imported raw and packing materials by issuing purchase orders based on rolling forecasts and specific requirements.• Manage and oversee import operations, including documentation, clearance, and shipment tracking.• Manage letters of credit (LCs), advance payments, bank contracts, amendments, and shipping guarantees, ensuring adherence to terms.• Follow up with banks regarding LC transmission, bank contracts, financial instruments, shipping documents, and bank debit advices.• Process duty requests and arrange pay orders from finance for shipment clearance.• Effectively utilize PSW and Weboc systems for import-related tasks.• Collect and verify clearing agents' bills and input expenses into the system for accurate costings.• Assist in resolving any import-related issues or discrepancies.
