I am recruiting professionals who are wanting to transition into teaching as a second, third...seventh career. The rigorous alternative teacher licensure program, Teach and Lead (TILA) I am representing is a force in educational reform. It is an exciting place to be at this time in education. Developing a marketing plan and system to increase our exposure to districts, counties, and individuals is part of my mission. We are partners in a US Dept of Ed grant that is offering funds to candidates in high needs districts to transition non-certified professionals to teaching. So I am spending my time weaving throughout the beautiful state of Colorado as part of my mandate to get the word out.
