I served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for two years. I served 7 months in Bakersfield California and about 15 months in Zambales, Philippines. During this time we taught the gospel of Jesus Christ but I learned many skills.As a missionary in another country, I had the oppourtiunity to work with many different people from all walks of life. From that experience I learned great communication skills and I learned how to lead and get along with people from many different backgrounds. I also became fluent in Tagalog.Part of my work as a missionary was to lead other missionaries in their efforts. I had the experience of giving many presentations and trainings for 150 other missionaries.
