Hi, I'm Talysha, podiatrist, clinical educator & injury rehabilitator.I run the Progressive Podiatry Project, an education platform for clinicians wanting to improve their knowledge, skills & confidence in assessing and managing musculoskeletal injuries.I strongly encourage you to look at my 'Featured" section, as this showcases a lot of the evidence-based educational content we have created on the P3 Platform to help you in your clinical practice. My approach when working with individuals and organisations is to identify their growth needs & develop achievable, actionable strategies in order to achieve their goals.Whether it be an allied health practitioner looking to build their knowledge & skills in managing musculoskeletal pathologies, to developing strategies to reach their niche market, or an organisation looking to coach their allied health staff to improve the quality of their care & injury recovery outcomes. My experience as a business owner & musculoskeletal podiatrist has seen me work across a range of private clinical settings including; private clinical practice & private hospital rehabilitation units. I also enjoy the opportunity I have been given to help shape the new clinicians entering our profession via my university lecturing & clinical supervision roles. I have worked within the Workers' Compensation space managing a range of complex physical & psychological cases of injured workers, in addition to contributing to projects centered around improving return-to-work outcomes. After 16 years working within allied health my passion and commitment to sharing knowledge and helping practitioners & organisations achieve the best possible injury outcomes continues to grow. As does my desire for personal & professional development.By finding and following what I am passionate about and playing to my strengths, my career trajectory has expanded from clinical podiatry to clinical education, complex injury case management and clinical work.
