In my role as overseer of creative projects, I provide visionary art direction, steadfastly maintaining an exceptional standard of excellence for our designs. Additionally, I take on the crucial responsibility of nurturing designers, offering guidance to ensure their growth. I work closely with team members to ensure our team continue to produce remarkable work that exceeds the expectations of our clients.

Responsible in managing production processes such as typesetting/artworking publication such as annual reports, providing training to client on how to set up templates, liaising with suppliers on pre-production processes and attending press check if project requires.

I had accepted challenge of taking up the role as Contractual Production Project Manager for Design Bridge Singapore with very minimal of technical knowledge about packaging design and production since Jan till April 2016. In the past 4 months working there, I had improved my production knowledge from just offset printing with papers to other various type of printing techniques and materials used. Besides that, it is also a great experience to work with these professionals from Design Bridge Asia, (one of the Asia leading packaging agency) in ways of handling project's production schedule and a very structural ISO system that helps in project-managed a job better and more efficient.

Previously Senior Designer, I was promoted to Design Manager for Sedgwick Richardson in 2014. As Design Manager, I have a wide range of responsibilities. My role as a designer includes the conceptualisation of ideas, design development and execution, up to the production of print-ready files / final artwork. As a senior level team member, I also guide junior designers and am the lead designer for several key client projects.I also act as the studio manager, managing the studio's resources and trafficking, as well as liaising with third party suppliers (printers, DI artists, photographers, etc.) on quotations and timelines. In addition, my experience in production allows me to oversee photoshoots and press checks for the final delivery of our clients' annual reports and corporate branding collaterals.Over my past 4 years at Sedgwick Richardson, I have worked for a diverse portfolio of both annual reporting and corporate branding clients, including but not limited to:Reporting- CapitaLand Group- Comfort DelGro Group- Hong Leong Finance- Millenium Copthorne Group - OCBC Bank- Banyan Tree- Keppel Corporation- SATS- SGXCorporate branding, collateral design and marketing / advertising- ST Engineering- World Sport Group- Singapore Sports Hub- National Stadium Club- Bugis+ - Pavilion EnergyMy work experience with World Sports Group was particularly interesting because it gave me the opportunity to apply my knowledge in digital publication to develop an interactive brochure as an app that can be viewed on iPads or Android tablets. This became part of their sales toolkit used in their sales gallery.

Initially a Graphic Designer, I was promoted after a year to Junior Art Director as well as tasked with the additional responsibilities of a Creative Services Executive. Aside from my creative and design role, I also managed the studio's day-to-day trafficking, resources and third party suppliers.At Mandate, I worked on a diverse range of client projects such as Singapore Army (advertising campaign), Thai Tourism Board, CityGas, Bugis Junction, NTUC (print advertising), NTUC Preschool, Fraser Centre Point, VivoCity, DXO, SingHealth, OrangeTee, and Grohe.

In my time at Armstrong Integrated Marketing, I had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects for clients across many different industries such as banking, retail, medical, and home décor. My job responsibilities were to conceptualise and design visuals from initial stages up to finished artwork, and occasionally up to print production stages. As Senior Graphic Designer, I had the additional responsibility of sourcing for third party quotes, meeting with new suppliers, following up on pre-production status as well as liaising with printers to manage timelines.

Working at Cricket Communication was an eye-opener for me as I transitioned from being a lecturer to working as a full-time designer in a corporate environment. My job scope required me to conceptualise new ideas, provide art direction in photoshoots, and also ensure the high quality of finished artworks. During my two years at Cricket Communication, I had the opportunity to work with clients such as Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur (branding and collateral design), Tetra Pak (advertising and recycling campaign), Albany International, Debenhams, and others.

In my first year at The One Academy, I was a tutor responsible for preparing course kits and student assessments, as well as mentoring students in design classes. I was promoted to Junior Lecturer after 2 years, where I taught courses such as Basic Design, Computer Graphic Design and Finished Art. At the same time, I continued to assist industry lecturers in tutoring students in subjects such as Corporate Identity and Print Production. I was also involved in the planning and execution of several design exhibitions and events.
