More recently in 2018, I joined GCI Communication Corp, Anchorage, Alaska Manager as an Administration Support – Rural Network Operation. I have been spearheading regional Operations and maintenance performance reporting in accordance with design availability, repair time, and quality goals. Recorded quantifiable achievements analyzing financial d and statistical data, participating in budget preparation for the Regulated Business, preparing monthly reports detailing material and personnel usage and department costs accounting data. While I have excelled in this capacity, I have also been a liaison between field technician employees consisting of up to 240 staff and other departments. Managing, coaching and mentoring Administrative Support staff in the performance of their duties. I have also recorded success maintaining continuity among corporate division and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. For the next 4 years, I took up the role of a Supervisor, Network Operations & Maintenance Administrator with United Utilities, Inc., Anchorage, Alaska. This role which ended in 2018 had me supervising resources that provide administrative and network operational support functions for Rural Network Operations. Coordinated with GCI/UUI field technicians and management to ensure administrative needs are provided as defined by Rural Network Operations management. While I successfully provided timely, accurate and through Performance Reviews for supervised employees, I also had to travel to rural Alaska as necessary in a small, single engine aircraft. Responsible for team results and recommends and /or approves promotions, demotions, transfers or disciplinary actions up to and including termination. Notably, I was able to maintain a union free workforce through effective communication and regular feedback to employees regarding their performance against expectations.

In 2014, I progressed into the role of an HR Generalist/Scholarship Administrator at United Utilities, Inc., Anchorage, Alaska. In this capacity, I supported UUI’s employees and management team across a wide spectrum of HR services, and acted as first point of contact on all benefit related questions. I also assisted employees during the Open Enrollment sessions in completing forms and ensuring that all mandatory items are completed correctly. In this role, I was a mentor and trainer, and I was directly responsible for ensuring annual performance reviews were completed and delivered.

When I joined United Utilities, Inc., Anchorage, Alaska as an Executive & HR Assistant/HRIS Administrator, I provided direct secretarial and administrative support services to corporate officers, Managers, and Board Members. This engagement lasted between 2004 and 2011. I was also the “Scholarship Administrator”, responsible for the village scholarship administration. This role required me to process scholarship applications and payments, communicating scholarship qualifications and eligibility criteria to students, as well as scholarship award guidelines, and collaborate with participating post-secondary institutions and Financial Aid Offices.I was also directly responsible for providing administrative support to the CEO/President and the Human Resources Manager.
