My primary responsibilities included reviewing and verifying the Moreno Valley Compressor Station system drawings to ensure accuracy and provide precise station descriptions. Additionally, I checked and confirmed a gas volume measuring calculator to ensure it measured the correct values. I also utilized Navisworks to develop an excel calculator that accurately determined the volume of gas at various pressures and temperatures at the Blythe Compressor Station. Another task I tackled was researching, developing, and testing a method to determine the volume of compressed air used during the start-up process of eight different compressors at various stations. Overall, this internship provided me with hands-on experience in the field of engineering, allowing me to apply the concepts I learned in the classroom to real-world scenarios.

My primary duties included inspecting, testing, and building PCB boards and various electronic components for cutting table machines. Additionally, I was tasked with redesigning and rebuilding five different emulators to test and help fix multiple devices and electrical components. With my proficiency in Fusion 360, I could redesign a cutting head calibrator emulator built to calibrate cutting heads for future machines or testing and fixing customer devices. This internship gave me valuable experience in electronic component assembly, PCB board inspection, and emulator design. The opportunity to work on real-world projects in a professional setting has been instrumental in shaping my career goals in engineering.
