CAN-RGX is a Canadian-wide competition (conducted by SEDS-Canada) for post-secondary students to design, build, and test a small payload to be flown on the National Research Council of Canada’s parabolic research aircraft.The proposal CMD-SAT submitted consisted of outlining the experiment, talking in depth about compliant hinges, their necessity to space exploration, funding, outreach, experimental procedure, etc.As the budget and outreach coordinator, I work closely with the team lead, professors, AlbertaSat, and SEDS, to create a comprehensive budget and outreach plan for the project. I also contribute to the project by organizing meetings and facilitating effective communication among all stakeholders. My responsibilities include coordinating budgetary aspects, ensuring financial resources are allocated efficiently, and monitoring expenses throughout the project. Additionally, I take the lead in outreach initiatives, promoting the proposal to relevant stakeholders and seeking potential partnerships or sponsorships. By leveraging my organizational and communication skills, I help create a collaborative and well-coordinated environment that contributes to the successful development of our experiment.
