Tamar McLeod Sinclair is a New Zealand Ngāi Tahu Māori, Polynesian and European female artist living in Cataluyna.Tamar is a strong vocalist and pianist. She enjoys playing a solo show or to be accompanied by her band: (Piano / Keyboards, Double Bass with effects and Drums).Tamar´s music is a combination of influences of world, jazz, rock, r’n’b, funk, electronic and experimental music. She calls it: WORLD SOUL MUSIC. Tamar is an international performer and in concert her music is described as hypnotic, naturally beautiful, powerful, dynamic, feminine, romantic, intimate and effectively mysterious. Tamar has produced two albums: “The Heart Notes” (2010) “an impressive and ambitious debut” and "The Naked Sessions” (2017) The album is a celebration of Tamar´s music and her unique pioneering ability to combine the worlds of Te Reo (the Māori language) and jazz. The voice of Tamar inspires her listener to take a journey through geographical, emotional and spiritual landscapes. She reaches the hearts of a wide audience, from children, to young adults, professionals, officials and elderly. Her music has received air play on Cuando Los Elefantes Sueñan Con La Música from Carlos Galilea on Radio 3, National Radio of Spain and Concert National Radio of New Zealand.  In 2016 Māori Television came to visit Tamar in Barcelona and featured her story and music on the Native Affairs Programme.Tamar has performed for Amma in Granollers Sport Stadium 2018; the Rt Hon. Helen Clark, the New Zealand Ambassador for Spain in the Caixa Forum, Barcelona 2018; Māori Television and TVNZ in New Zealand 2015; WTF Jam Sessions at Jamboree Jazz Club 2012 - 2017; Festival Asia of Barcelona 2013 (Casa Asia); at the 44th Voll-Damm International Jazz Festival of Barcelona 2012.Other international performance highlights for Tamar have included singing at Ronnie Scott’s in London and El Teatro de San Remo in Italy.
