As part of the Air Quality team in BreezoMeter, and now in Google, I work on the scientific and algorithmic aspects of our air quality product. This is a huge title for many different projects, including: air pollution modelling, real-time QA processes, accuracy examinations, and many more. For me, working at BreezoMeter team as part of Google is the best way to use my experience and knowledge about air pollution and software engineering, while raising people’s awareness to air pollution hazards and improving their health.Before BreezoMeter, as a graduate student in the Technion, I worked as a research assistant in The Technion Center of Excellence in Exposure Science and Environmental Health (TCEEH). I worked on the deployment and maintenance of an ambient air pollution sensors network. The sensors were of different types, and measured different types of air pollutants, and it was of great interest to learn about the sensors’ capabilities and performance.As an undergraduate student in the Technion, I enjoyed the student union social activity and served as the representative of the students in the environmental engineer program.
