Resource Staffing Specialist
Current- Collaborate with 43-unit managers daily to review core staff schedule to ensure that each unit is adequately staffed at a 95% success rate.
- Assess/determine staffing needs for upcoming shift in 4 hour increments according to patient census and acuity.
- Identify and define critical staffing needs by communicating with unit leaders and Nursing Coordinator in a timely manner.
- Make necessary staffing adjustments in Kronos-unit reassignment, callouts, adding or time changing staff in a timely manner.
- Implemented change in process of recording callouts from digital log book to imputation on employee’s schedule to eliminate error and to provide better results of record keeping.
- Serves as an information/communication liaison and problem solver for departmental employees/managers as relates to operational/service needs.
